Pennsylvania’s Mid-Term Election Results; The ‘Biggies’

The 2022 Pennsylvania mid-term elections have spoken.

In Pennsylvania, our new governor is democrat Josh Shapiro, who won with 56.3% of casted votes. Shapiros opponent, Republican Douglas Mastriano, received 41.9% of votes.

And the newest Pennsylvania senator is democrat John Fetterman, who won with 51% of casted votes. Fetterman’s opponent was republican Mehmet Oz, and he received 46.6% of casted votes.

If you are looking to thank anyone for either of those wins, you can turn to the younger voters, aged 18-29. Sources reporting on voter turn-out, voter demographics, and voting summaries are all pointing out that the turn-out of youth voters was remarkable and had a huge influence on the results.
