CB South’s own Lauren Lima had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of attending the Grammy’s this year with her uncle and cousins. With many excellent performances, not to mention numerous celebrity sightings, the Grammy’s were a trip to remember.

Although her favorite part was the after party when she was surrounded by food, Lauren enjoyed being surrounded by celebrities.

“It felt great,” Lauren said about her day in fame. “In the hallway, I would try to stalk celebrities because I knew you would always see one.”

Coming up-close and personal with celebrities, Lauren met pop singers: Tove Lo, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, and Jake Miller, whom her cousin is obsessed with. “She looked up and she saw Jake Miller and she booked it to him,” Lauren says, “I was pretty nervous about that because I had no clue where she was going.  

Lauren’s favorite performer was Andrea De who performed with Ellie Golding followed by Adele. “She is such an amazing performer,” Lauren says about the Adele performance. Unlike on TV, Adele’s performance had “no sound problems or annoying bleeps”, making it an enjoyable performance.

Certainly a night to remember, the night got even better when reggae pop band, Emblem 3 complimented Lauren’s dress. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was taken full advantage of!
